Services

The site is mostly here to publish articles. On the side, LAJVM works on Java and Kotlin projects. Here is what that covers.

Technical audit

A factual read on your code, your architecture and your performance. Code quality and test coverage, application boundaries, memory and GC behaviour, contention points, dependencies and known vulnerabilities, build chain and deployment. You get a report that both engineers and management can read, and an action plan ranked by impact and effort.

Software architecture

Designing and reshaping JVM architectures: microservices, modular monolith, hexagonal architecture, event-driven. Stepping out of a monolith gradually, moving to a recent LTS, introducing Kotlin, going cloud-native on Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure. Structural decisions are recorded as ADRs, and designed with your teams rather than for them.

Java and Kotlin development

Team reinforcement or full ownership of a scope, on Spring Boot, Ktor or http4k. Code that is tested, observable and painless to take over: today’s Java with records, pattern matching and virtual threads, Kotlin with coroutines and null-safety, without overdoing either.

Training

In-house sessions built from your actual stack rather than a catalogue: modern Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Ktor, cloud-native, architecture and test strategy. The examples come from real projects, and hands-on work takes up a good share of the time.

How it works

You describe your context, we talk it through on a call, and you get a proposed approach with a clear engagement frame. That first exchange commits you to nothing. LAJVM is based in Paris and works across France, on site or remotely.
